*  Promote Awareness: National distribution:  National distribution of YR Ask for Help Cards & Be-A-Link Trainings.

 

 *  Develop broad based support:  Yellow Ribbon works toward capacity building and community collaboration.

 

 *  Implement strategies to Reduce Stigma:  YR messages that It's OK to Ask for Help through media campaign.

 

 *  Implement Suicide Prevention Programs:  Since 1994 YR is a dynamic, evolving comprehensive community-based  program.

  

*   Promote efforts to reduce access  to Lethal Means:  YR curriculum teaches that reducing access to lethal means is vital.

 

 *    Implement training for recognition for At-Rick Behavior:  YR has curriculums for Elementary age through

      elderly.         And has a physicians module for medical and emergency personnel.

 

  *   Promote effective Clinical and Professional Practices: YR  partners with American Osteopathic Association to implement

       curriculum into all Osteopathic training institutions, colleges, and universalities.

 

 *    Access to mental health and substance abuse services:  YR works with communities to help the community improve access to help.
